oh um, i know im kinda late.. but better late than never? yes? ok cool. for some reason i dont have (or remember) any childhood memories.. so it was kinda awkward trying to think of 5 things. i do, however, have 2 memories that still haunt me in my dreams. the first one is when me, my sister and my bro burned down our house. um .. yeah.. it was an accident. actually i dont know why im including...
I'm still a child. My logic is different, but the...
POWER RANGERS and POKEMON and RUGRATS and NINJA TURTLES. I was pretty much a loner child. Most of my cousins/family friends were around my brothers age and being 10 years younger than my brother…I was sort of left with my imagination. So Power Rangers were my friends and we fought all the bad guys and merked them all day. Ninja Turtles also helped me fight bad guys. My bedroom was the...
Growing up is not so tough
My childhood was filled with very fond memories and never fails to bring a smile to me when I look back on them. Without my sister Rachel and my brother Alex, my childhood would of been incomplete. Growing up in the exact same house and never having to move, has allowed my family to create so many wonderful memories in one place and to truly call it our home. We loved playing house and several...
OT: LOLKRISSY
I'm just a kid
The origin of phobia:
My uncle drove me and Jaimee Mac to my lola’s (grandma’s) cousin’s house. I think we’re there to pick her up. So when we arrived, I left the car and went to the house gate. I pressed the door bell and waited outside. When I turned around, I saw a bulldog….yes….a bulldog beside me. I remember seeing its sharp teeth while staring at me. I...
MAH CHILDHOOD
Every memory takes place in the Philippines considering I lived there until I was 10 or 11 years old. My childhood was not as funny or exciting as some of you, but rather quite sad. Hopefully I’ll remember better things to write about as I go on. Let’s get started.
I remember when I was… I don’t know; young. I was playing hide and seek with the other neighbourhood...
I don’t really remember any significant memory that stood out from my childhood.. maybe I just have a really bad memory.. that or my childhood was a big failure.. but i’m just going to write about what I can remember off the top of my head.. here goes.. (yes run-on sentence)
Umm.. I remember I was back in the Philippines and my grandparent’s house was always infested with the...
as kid everything was pretty much fun for me, despite everything going on outside my own personal bubble. i’m pretty family- oriented so a lot of favourite memories consist of my family. i can always remember thing so clearly and vividly it makes me have feelings of nostalgia just thinking about it.
i mentioned before how my siblings and i for the most part weren’t really allowed...
My childhood was pretty amazing to be honest. There were a few things, major things that were huge obstacles to get through but overall, I have a lot to be thankful for.
Most of my childhood memories include my two cousins, who are my best friends, my life. Now, as you read this, you will laugh and you will judge, but really - I don’t mind!
My first Childhood memory however is one with my...
TOPIC #4: Childhood Memories
I felt we needed to stray away from serious topics and enjoy a happy topic for once ^_^
Recall activities from your youth that made you smile. Miniature golf. Bugs Bunny. Elmer Fudd. The fast-forward chipmunk voice you get from inhaling a helium balloon.
What did you find fun or funny as a child? List at least 5 or more childhood memories and explain why that particular memory means so much...
I really hate this topic.
I’ve literally spent an hour trying to translate my thoughts and its really not good enough.
Attempt #2 tomorrow.
edit: i admire the human race. look how far we have come. art, technology, and everything around us.. we are truly a special race to conceive of these things. the human mind is such a great thing of beauty, that its incredible how we take everything...

i don’t really admire anyone specific. i think when it comes down to it, i admire a lot of people from a far. i admire those that can wake up every morning completely content with their lives and don’t roll over to pull the covers over their head. i admire those that can live day to day to the fullest and make the best out of it not wasting away taking 5 different naps. i admire those...

Like Kristina I admire my mom, and because I admire my mom, I admire my sister as well. My mom was one of the greatest people ever and just the thought of her makes everything worth it. It’s hard to type, as i sit here and hold back tears thinking of what was. She was so strong and didn’t care about what anyone thought. A lot of people felt this way about her as well. I won’t go...
The Hummingbird and the Flower
iadmire if it was “who” (and I’m guessing that’s what you mean) I would definitely have to say my mom. But instead of who do I admire, I wanted to think of “what” I admire. And this counts, cause I looked it up, admire can be defined as “to regard with wonder or surprise”.
I really enjoy dancing, especially hard jumping, but after two years of...
TOPIC #3: iAdmire
We already know who were going to read about by the time everyone’s done blogging. carrie, aubrey and kris allen to name a few. Its pretty self explanatory enough. go.
Land Before Time
So Land Before Time was one of my all time favourite movie as a child. I remember coming home from school, popping in some popcorn, and in a movie. And this one was one of the movies that I would never get sick of. Of course as a child I really didn’t understand all that was going on in the movie, but watching the movie as I got older, one particular song will remain significant in the way I...
Lion King
As cliche as this choice may sound, the Lion King is a film that I hold very close to my heart. It is possibly the only movie that has made such a huge impact in my life while other movies have made subtle strides. I remember when I was six or seven years old and my parents told me to get ready because we were heading out to the local movie theatre in the Philippines. As I sat down in one of the...

If you can hear this Don’t assume that I’m talking to you Yesterday everything I thought I believed in died But today is my birthday Today is my birthday I don’t need you, I’ll say it to myself, It doesn’t mean I won’t need somebody Anyone with half a soul, will hear this and they’ll never leave me If you don’t know what forever feels like I’ll...
Stand by Me
there are so many things that have influenced my way of thinking or have even changed the way i perceive life itself but thinking back to myself as a child growing up this really set the tone for me. as a kid i was never really allowed outside because my mother was really strict and my sister and i would be home a lot. we would always make our dad bring us to the library every other week and...
OT: JUMPING MACHINES
Because we’re cool like that.
stepmom.
Stepmom is one of the movies that makes me laugh, cry and understand the importance of people around you.
When I first watched this when I was a kid, All I learned is that the mother died and left her children behind.
After a few years watching the re-runs on Cable 47, it taught me that All Good things come to an end. It is sad but its true. Thinking about the scenario happening to me is quite...
